**On the 800m run, the goal is to be at least 30 seconds faster than your mile pace. For example, if I run an 8minute mile, then my mile pace is 4 minutes per 800m. Now we subtract 30 seconds from that and my goal for the 800m is 3 minutes and 30 seconds.
