When did you start crossfitting?

September 2017

How did you hear about BattleWolf Crossfit and why did you decide to start crossfit?

I did a Google search and liked what I saw. I had decided months before I would do crossfit to change my sedentary lifestyle. Had my mind made up and haven't looked back.

What are some of your goals in and outside of crossfit?

I want to be the best me I can be in all aspects of life. Muscle ups and double unders are near time goals. Completing my fixed wing training is my goal outside of the box.

Describe your diet?

I did an herbal life diet for about 3 months and now am still following the rules of their diet without using their shakes. High protein meals with lots of veggies and very little carbs. High protein snacks between meals. No rice, bread, or potatoes. I use sweet potatoes and avocados a lot, they're super foods.

What/Who motivates or inspires you?

Might sound vain but looking in the mirror and seeing my progress motivates me. Seeing where I was a year ago is my biggest motivator.

What would you tell people who are looking to start crossfit?

Take full advantage of the free week and come every day ready to work, ready to improve yourself. Pace yourself and don't push yourself too hard where you cause injury. Finally, be committed to the lifestyle change.

Hobbies outside of crossfit?

I like to collect sports memorabilia. I have items from all sorts of athletes from all sorts of sports.

Favorite Motivational Quote and why?

“For things to change you've got to change”

This says it all. Anything you do in life should be focused toward changing yourself. If you aren't committed to changing yourself then things won't change for you. Also, if you're changing for someone else, it probably won't last long.

Favorite Cheat Meal?

Sushi and beer

Three must have workout songs are….

Eminem - Lose yourself

50 cent - This is how we do

DJ Kahled - All I do is win

Assault Bike or Burpees?

Burpees, but I prefer the skier.

Tell us something that people may not know about you?

I used to be able to run a mile in 5:01 and 2 miles in 10:52 minutes… but that was ages ago
