When did you start crossfitting?

I started CrossFit the summer of 2012 but didn’t get competitive until I started a Ladies Lifting class in San Marcos in late 2013 that really inspired me to lift heavy & try to beat the boys. 

How did you hear about BattleWolf Crossfit and why did you decide to start crossfit?

I heard about BattleWolf CrossFit through a smokin’ man friend I was seeing & dropped in with him pretty regularly. I joined in March 2018 after the gym I was attending closed. Destiny.

What are some of your goals in and outside of crossfit?

Inside of CrossFit: 

-Handstand hold/walks

-Ring muscle ups

-Butterfly pull ups, so I won’t be out there embarrassing the squad with kipping pull ups at competitions

Outside of CrossFit: 

-Run 5ks like my Dad

-Romwod every day

-Get into nursing school!

-Be the person my dog thinks I am

Describe your diet?

I’ve been a vegetarian since early 2016. It’s something I’m really passionate about. 

What/Who motivates or inspires you?

My parents. They are the best people I know. They have been amazing role models of love, friendship, hard work, & doing what is right, not what is easy. If I am half the person they are, I will be in good shape. 

What would you tell people who are looking to start crossfit?

~Just do it! I have made so many friends through CrossFit, improved my quality of life, & inspired family to be active. My only regret is not starting sooner!

Hobbies outside of crossfit?

~ My favorite hobby is CrossFit! I also enjoy spending time with my friends, doing anything outdoors, Bachelor viewing party Mondays, cooking, & catering to my fur child Haven. 

Favorite Motivational Quote and why?

“You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.”

Every day is a new opportunity to spread a little good! 

Favorite Cheat Meal?

Currently, I have been going pretty hard with the Halo Top ice creams! Also, hot Cheetos & cheese!
