CHALLENGES….How do they work?
~ Challenges must be submitted on Thursday nights prior to classes starting on Friday. They can emailed to us at battlewolfcf@gmail.comor we will have a challenge board posted in the gym.
~They must be accepted by both parties.
~Handicaps may be given….for example, Quint could give Weston 20 reps, so at the end of the WOD, if Quint doesn’t beat Weston by more than 20 reps, then Weston wins the challenge.
~Challenges must happen at the same time, not in separate heats.
THE GAUNTLET
This is something new we are doing this year and it should be pretty exciting. Every Thursday after the workout is released, each team will have the option to put one person into “The Gauntlet”. These people will do the WOD right after the release with everyone cheering them on. Here are some quick things to consider:
· You may only enter “The Gauntlet” one time, so plan smart.
· Your team must decide who enters prior to the announcement.
· If you place top 3 in the Gauntlet you get a 3-point bonus for your team.
· You don’t have to submit anyone if you don’t want to.
· You get a point just for putting a person into “The Gauntlet”.
· If it happens to be a double event week, then double the points are up for grabs for the Top 3 portion.
SUBMITTING SCORES:
~All scores must be submitted online at https://games.crossfit.com before Monday at 7:00pm. They will not accept any late score submissions for any reason, so get them in early. Crossfit Games does have an app that makes submitting your scores super easy. After you complete your workout, you will receive a slip with your score and tiebreaker time (if applicable). Do Not Lose This, because this is what you will submit online.
