Grab a partner and signup for our second annual in house mixed pair competition. RX and Scaled divisions available. Signup is $70/person plus tax and includes a shirt (you must sign up by September 1st to receive shirt).

Top three teams in each division will win a prize bag and top RX team will get a FatHead of themselves on the wall of champions in our gym!

Event 1

18 Min *AMRAP -splitting work however you desire, must tag partners hand in designated area to switch

20 Sandbag Ground to Overhead

20 Sandbag Box Step Overs (24/20”)

*Each person must run 800m with their sandbag within the 18 min cap (think of this as a cash out before the clock ends). For every 5 seconds (rounded up) each person is over the 18 min cap, 1 rep will be deducted from your score. I.e. a team finishes with 149 reps. Male partner runs 800m and comes back to their station at 18:43 (deduction of 9 reps) and female is back at 18:14 (deduction of 3 reps). Their final score is 149 reps minus the 12 penalty reps for a total of 137 reps. If there is still time left on the clock once you return from the run, you may no longer do work on the AMRAP. Weights are still to be determined, but will be somewhere around 60-90 lbs for Male RX and 40-60lbs for Female RX. Male scaled will be around 40-60 lbs and female scaled will be around 20-30 lbs. Scaled divisions will do box step overs to (20/16”). You may step over the box in any fashion as long as the sandbag does not touch the box and is fully supported by your body. Both feet must come in contact with the top of the box. One box will be supplied per team.
