WOD: “Stimulus Check #9: Frenemies”

2 Rounds; 1:00 per station with 0:20s transition period for max reps/distance of:

Sled Push

Rope Climb or Rope Raise/Lowers

D-ball Slams

Calorie Row

Stone Bear Hug Carries

Tire Flips

GOAL: Find somebody within the class that you are relatively at the same level in your fitness journey. You might be better at some movements than others and vice versa, but that’s okay. Specify which weights (preferably lighter as this is an aerobic style workout) and movements you agree to do. Your movements can be different, one partner rope climbs, the other does rope raises/lowers. The goal is to push yourself for the minute, within reason. If Partner A starts Round 1, Partner B will start Round 2. Each partner gets one minute per station to perform max reps/distance, followed by a 0:20s transition period then the second partner gets their minute of work, followed by another 0:20s transition in which both partners move on to the next movement. When all movements have been performed by each partner one time, there will be 2:00 rest. Then you will repeat the work, with Partner B starting off this time. If you’d like to, you can make this a competition between you & your partner/frenemy. Keep track of who “wins” each station. The partner who performs the most reps/distance at the most stations will get their name circled on the board today. There is no RX/FW/LF today. You can also just choose to cheer your partner on and y’all do you!
